We had a family outing to the Dr Who exhibition in Manchester a couple of weekends ago. They had loads of original props and costumes, including the obligatory Dalek (including one with the back cut off so you can climb in), a couple of Cyber Men and even the huge Arachnos model.
The kids loved it, but it was all over too quickly.

If you're within driving distance, it's worth a visit.

We've been there as well, couldn't agree more! Ende up spending a fortune in the BBC shop. Not cheap!!!
The kids loved the dalek though, and were singing songs in the dalek voice thing.

It was nice to see some of the props up close - the big arachnos woman was quite involved. The angled a mirror so you could see all of the workings underneath it.
The Cyberman were good as well - and the two Oods!
